In her work, Jasmin unfolds a micro universe of artifacts, relics, fossils and creatures. A universe that draws attention to the concept of memory as a poetic device and catalyst for imagination. Through nostalgia, dreams and art history Franko displays a series of ceramic sculptures that fundamentally looks at animism in a modern age through the living material – clay.

Jasmin Franko (b.1992) is an Iraqi-Hungarian artist born in Denmark. She lives and works in Copenhagen with a degree from the Royal Danish Academy – Architecture, Design and Conservation – Glass & Ceramics (2021).
